Business Process IT Analyst
To the Special Steels IT department, in a new role, we are looking for a structured and service-oriented Business Process IT Analyst located in Stockholm, Oxelösund or Borlänge.
IT at Special Steels is at a stage where we will need to make a journey forward in further developing the business with new technology. We are now in need of a person interested in making change, ready to take on the challenge that comes with new exciting technology.
SSAB Special Steels IT
Special Steels IT is a global IT-organization responsible for IT within Special Steels division. The organization consist of four departments located in Oxelösund in Sweden, Kunshan in China and Pittsburgh in USA. Special Steels IT is also part of the SSAB IT organization where several of the services and systems that Special Steels uses are run and supported by either the SSAB Shared IT Service (Group IT) or other divisions’ IT organization.

The main purpose of the Business Process IT Analyst role is to improve our business processes within Supply Chain, Finance and Sales to make them more efficient and automated within our existing enterprise business applications (mainly SAP ERP) and that the information that our business and our customers or other external partners need is available where it’s needed.
This role also develops and supports our enterprise business applications (mainly SAP ERP) within our global Special Steels division. The IT Analyst will closely work with business process owners and end users to gather requirements, provide training and resolve issues. You are also responsible for securing that the design and development enterprise business applications done by other SSAB IT teams meet the business requirements. Another part of the role will be to drive IT projects and provide implementation support for programs and projects.
The IT Analyst reports to the IT Manager of IT Sales, Order & Delivery with Special Steels IT organization, and the location is flexible, preferably Oxelösund, but Stockholm or Borlänge is also optional.
We think you have an academic degree, but it´s not a must. You have previous experience in development within an ERP environment or other comparable types of enterprise business applications (SAP, IFS, JEEVES), where SAP is meritorious. You have worked with both development and end user support.
You have knowledge of business processes mainly within Supply Chain, Finance and Sales administration and how SAP ERP or other IT solutions can support and automate the processes. You have also been working with requirement definitions, solution specifications and information modelling.
You also master English and Swedish fluently in speech and writing. It´s meritorious with knowledge in project management, prototyping and proof of concepts, business process modelling and Finnish in speech and writing.
You have strong logical skills and the ability to interpret business process and functional needs and translate them into IT solutions. You have very good ability to see the whole picture. You value cooperation and are solution-oriented, structured, service-oriented and educational, you also appreciate facing new challenges. You communicate messages and information in a simple, clear and inspiring way in writing and speech. You are good at listening ideas, conducting a dialogue on different solutions in order to get the best solution for SSAB. At the same time, you are driven, easy to see and get together in a broader context, prioritizing and organizing work based on given limits.
